Kendra conducted Scientific Advisory Committee meeting on 23rd July 2010 at KVK, Gobichettipalayam
The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting which constitutes representatives of Host Institution, ICAR, Central & State Research Stations, State Line Departments, Banks, NGOs, Progressive Farmers, Farm Women and Community Based Institutions in KVK operational areas
As part of SAC meeting, KVK established an Integrated Farm Development live model within the office premises for the benefit of farmers. It is going to be a permanent model so that whoever visits the KVK can equip themselves with IFD technologies and its components (For each component, information on its design, cost, benefit and source has been displayed). The Delegates and Scientific advisory committee members visited the Integrated Farm Development live model and the exhibition arranged before the inauguration of the program

- The recipient of state level award (2010) from NABARD, Chennai for creating positive impact under Village Development Programme in Erode district (with respect to rural energy, integrated farm development, Promotion of ELS cotton, promotion of farmer’s organizations /SHGs and linkages).
